Hanna had her last litter of kittens January 30th, 2009.  She had 3 girls and 3 boys.  She and Sir Winston are retired now.   We have added our three girls to our breeding future, along with "Missy," Kentucky Mystical Diamond from our previous litter.  Look for New Litters at the end of 2010!

Stunning, playful, loving, adaptable and very social.

The litter you will find below was born April 24th, 2008!  All have their new homes now.    
 You will find in the first row the color of a Ruddy Female when it is a week old and then the two pictures to the right will show you her coloring at 6 weeks old.  Ruddy's are born almost black on their top side and as they grow, their color is more even.  Each individual hair is distinctly ticked starting with the lightest color at the base of the hair banding several colors up the hair shaft ending with either a dark brown or black.  Their markings around their eyes are more dramatic than the other colors of Abyssinians.

You will find that our kittens are raised by their mom AND their dad!!!  Yes, their dad.  You will find that at Kentucky Katz cattery we don't cage any of our kittens or their parents, except for transport for their safety.  Your next addition to your family has been born.  Go ahead, add something exotic, rare, loving and elegant to your life, our kittens cuddle, kiss, retrieve and delight you with their intelligence!!!

We take the greatest care in raising our Abyssinian kittens from their first breath until they come to your home.  My husband and I actually assist our Queen with her births, so your kitten is assured the best quality of life. Your kitten is handled within a few hours after birth by our familly members and introduced to new scents, textures and sounds for socialization and security.   All of our kittens come with a genetic guarantee.  They are vet checked as soon as possible after they are born along with their mom and again at 7-8 weeks and given their first round of vacinations.  Vacinations are given at the appropriate times after that by our vet or are required by you if you have them at that time.  All pets are sold with an alter agreement.  Breeders may inquire.
